Position details:
Rotation: 28 days on board / 28 days off
Working hours: 12-hour shifts
Crew size: approximately 100 people
Location: Adriatic Sea
Start date: urgently – around 20–25 August
Travel to and from home booked and paid by the Company
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide medical care and primary first aid care in emergency cases, to all personnel onboard the rig.
· Operate and maintain the rig’s hospital, medical facilities, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
· Conduct safety orientations and deliver medical training to crew as assigned.
· Administer trauma and general medical care to crew members; maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
· Monitor and uphold high standards of workplace health, hygiene, and food safety conditions.
· Ensure first aid kits, eye wash stations, and emergency medical supplies are readily available and serviceable.
· Advise supervisors on occupational health, incidents, sickness, and coordinate medical evacuations as necessary.
· Liaise with shore-based medical facilities and coordinate care as required.
· Meet mandatory training requirements per the applicable training matrix.
· Maintain and regularly update personnel T-Card lists for muster and lifeboat stations, ensuring accuracy with POB (Personnel On Board) records.
· Keep an up-to-date register of all onboard personnel.
PREREQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS:
· Doctor of Medicine degree.
· Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate. (preferred)
· Valid healthcare practitioner’s license issued by the holder’s national governing or licensing board acceptable to the Flag State maritime authority.
· Basic computer skills.
· Valid BOSIET (OPITO). ( We can organize)
