Specialist (m/w/d) Orthopaedics in South Sweden
We are looking for Specialist (m/w/d) in Orthopaedics in South-Sweden.
Place of work
In the southernmost region of Sweden.
Requirements for education
Specialist exam in Orthopaedics from within EU or education recognized in an EU-country plus at least three years of experience as working as a specialist in that country. Orientation to Spinal Surgery.
Required qualification/ experience
We welcome you who are a licensed doctor with the right to work in Swedish healthcare, and you also have specialist competence in Orthopaedics.
It is considered meritorious if you:
• have several years of service, clinical skill and independence in your main specialty in addition to the specialist competence obtained
• have defined medical responsibility and knowledge area
• have documented teaching and/or supervisory merit
• have a doctorate.
We value that you have a good ability to cooperate with both colleagues and other staff categories as well as good treatment in contact with patients and relatives. You show good judgment and are happy to take your own initiatives to develop yourself and the people around you. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Salary for staff with Swedish legitimation
80.000 – 95.000 SEK depending on professional background and number of years of experience as a specialist. Later, as a consultant doctor, you can earn even 100-110.000 SEK or more.
Services offered by the employer
• During the personal visit which is part of the interview process, the cost of travel and accommodation is financed
• 6-7 months long, free Swedish course, financial support during the course (the amount is topic of negotiation)
• Help with your application for Swedish license to practice, supervision of the process
• free Swedish legal and social training consisting of 40 classes
Optional (by individual agreement with the employer):
• Assistance in finding school/kindergarten for the children
• Assistance in the organization of moving and in apartment-seeking
• Integration assistance (assistance in registering at tax authority, opening bank account, etc.)

• Professional English CV in which your experience (number of completed examinations/surgeries, with differentiation between pre-and post-specialization experience) are detailed
• Cover letter
• Scanned version of license to practice in home country with English translation (no official needed)
• Scanned version of medical and specialist certificates with English translation (no official needed)
